The Kiamsha Alumni Association is a prime example of the organization’s success. As mentors, alumni continually lend their support to current Kiamsha youth by mentoring, training and participating in various areas of Kiamsha’s program. Their support helps to motivate our current participants to give back, reach back and to abolish the ills that are causing many of today’s youth to fail in school, fail in society, and live hopeless, non-productive lives.

The Kiamsha Alumni Association was founded in 1999 and serves as a continued support system for the mission of this organization. As mentors, they continuously make themselves available to participate in workshops throughout various states as well as support the current Steering Committee youth by encouraging them to continue to strive to abolish the ills that are causing many of today’s youth to fail in school, fail in society, and live hopeless, non-productive lives.
The Kiamsha Conference: Breaking Society’s Cycle; Portraying the Positive
The youth who attend our yearly two-day youth conference receive vital tools that equip them to make the choice to avoid placing themselves in compromising situations. Many of the youth who attend the annual conference, who are not already members of Kiamsha, return in the fall to become members of Kiamsha’s Steering Committee.
